Job summary

HID Global Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Senior Industrial Software Engineer to design, develop, and support industrial software for manufacturing automation. You will focus on HMI development, software integration, and lifecycle activities across the machine development process.

Requirements include 5+ years in industrial software, strong C#/.NET, SQL Server experience, and the ability to travel internationally.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in software or related engineering discipline.
5+ years of industrial software development in automation/manufacturing.
Experience developing HMI apps with C# and .NET.
Experience integrating software with SQL Server and automation systems.
Experience supporting machine commissioning, troubleshooting, or production equipment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain industrial software applications using C#, .NET, VS.
Create intuitive HMI applications for automated manufacturing equipment.
Integrate software with PLCs, SQL Server, and industrial devices.
Support FAT, SAT, commissioning and production start-up activities.
Troubleshoot software and system integration issues for reliable performance.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and controls teams throughout projects.
Document software releases and engineering records; provide internal support.
Promote continuous improvement and share engineering best practices.
