Job summary

HID Global is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist (India) to manage end-to-end India payroll within the APAC Shared Services. You will drive the transition from ADP to in-house payroll using BIPO and may back up the APAC Payroll Manager for other regions.

The role requires deep India payroll expertise, strong compliance knowledge, and experience delivering payroll transformations in a multinational setup. Collaboration with HR, Finance, and IT is essential.

Qualifications

• Fluent English communication, written and verbal, are essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years’ payroll experience with India payroll responsibility and 3+ years in lead/management role.
• Experience with payroll implementations, migrations, transformations, or insourcing/outsourcing projects; ADP-to-house transition is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end India payroll operations, accurately and compliantly.
• Act as India payroll SME for legislation, compliance, governance, and payroll matters.
• Own payroll reconciliations, month-end accounting, and reporting.
• Lead ADP-to-BIPO transition, including design, testing, data validation, and cutover.
• Ensure payroll changes from amendments to Tax, ESI, PT, LWF, and Gratuity are implemented.
