Job summary

Kitron in Malaysia is seeking an Electronic Test Engineer to operate and maintain ICT/FCT testing equipment, execute product software, and create thorough test scenarios according to specifications. You will supervise testing procedures, calibrate gear, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve reliability.

Role requires a 4–5 year electronics manufacturing background, strong troubleshooting, and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field.
4–5 years of experience as Electronic Test Engineer or similar role in electronics manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of electronic circuit design, test methodologies, and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiar with different types of testing and programming equipment.
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain ICT/FCT testing equipment and ensure proper execution of product software.
Create detailed test scenarios including functional, performance and reliability tests.
Supervise testing procedures and maintenance of test systems.
Conduct functional, signal‑integrity and environmental testing to validate product performance.
Liaise with customers on testing techniques and ensure proper execution of testing processes.
Diagnose and resolve issues with test equipment and software.
Document test procedures, results and defects clearly and present test reports with performance metrics.
