Job summary

Kitron Electronics Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced FCT & ICT tester to join our manufacturing team in Kulai. You will perform functional circuit testing on PCBA and HLA products according to customer requirements and support setup of FCT testers for new products.

Working with test engineers and production, you will analyze failures, conduct RCA, perform preventive maintenance and calibration of test equipment, read log files, and apply ISO quality systems and IPC

Qualifications

• Experience with ICT/FCT testing in electronics/EMS environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform FCT & ICT testing on PCBA and HLA products per customer requirements.
• Support setup of FCT testers for new products.
• Read and interpret FCT tester log files and test logs.
• Collaborate with Test Engineers and production to analyze findings and RCA.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration of test equipment.
• Troubleshoot PCBA and circuit failures as they arise.

Perform FCT & ICT testing on PCBA’s & HLA products according to customer test requirements.

Support of set-up FCT tester for new products.

Understand of basic test equipment used such as Keysight DMM meter, power supply unit, LAN routers and etc.

Collaborates with Test Engineers and production for FCT test findings, failures & RCA analysis.

Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration of test equipment.

Perform troubleshooting of PCBA’s and circuits failures.

Able to read FCT tester log files and understand test log files.

Possesses structured and systematic thinking; proactive and adaptable

Requirement

• 2–3 years of working experience in an electronics or EMS company
• 3–5 years of experience in ICT/FCT within an electronics company
• Proficient in operating and maintaining TS124 or 228X equipment, as well as other brands of test equipment.
• Skilled in using and handling test instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and soldering irons
• Knowledge of electronic circuit schematics and basic understanding of various electronic components.
• Familiar with ISO quality systems and relevant IPC standards
• Good knowledge of 5S and ESD practices
• Experience in semiconductor device testing is an added advantage
