Job summary

Edra Power Holdings Sdn Bhd is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to oversee daily and preventive maintenance of field instruments, PLC, DCS, and QCS, leading a team of technicians to ensure reliable plant operations.

You will manage maintenance programs, supervise modifications, train supervisors, and prepare RCA and maintenance analysis reports, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Electrical / Electronic Engineering is required.
• 4 to 6 years of accumulative experience in I&C engineering in power, oil and gas, chemical plant.
• Authorized Gas Tester & Entry Supervisor for Confined Space (AGTES).
• Authorized Entrance and Standby Person (AESP).
• Experience in power plant equipment maintenance, field devices and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute and improve the plant CMMS and spare parts inventory policies to ensure smooth operations with minimal environmental impact and optimal maintenance cost.
• Plan and assist maintenance of instrument calibrations, planned outages and upgrading projects.
• Identify and implement improvements to prolong equipment life.
• Review and approve I&C tests and calibrations performed on site by technicians.
• Review stock balance and procure spare parts as needed.
