Job summary

Sunview Group Berhad seeks a Senior Electrical Design Engineer (High Voltage) to lead the design and execution of HV systems for utility-scale solar projects, substations and grid connections. You will develop, review, and coordinate HV electrical designs across primary and secondary systems, ensuring adherence to standards and project specs.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, 3–6 years HV experience, and is proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office, with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (Hons.) or equivalent.
3–6 years of relevant HV electrical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and review HV electrical systems for HV substations and power infrastructure projects.
Prepare and review SLDs, engineering drawings, protection & control schematics and documentation.
Perform power system studies: load flow, short circuit, voltage drop and protection coordination.
Design HV Primary and HV Secondary elements (substation layout, transformers, switchgear, cables, earthing; protection relays, SCADA, interlocking).
Select HV equipment ensuring compliance with project specs and safety standards.
Coordinate FAT, SAT, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting activities.
