Job summary

Leighton Asia Limited in Malaysia seeks an experienced Recruitment Specialist to manage end-to-end hiring, screen candidates, conduct interviews, extend offers and onboard new hires. You will build a strong talent pool across multiple channels and partner with Hiring Managers to align role requirements with sourcing strategies.

The role also supports employer branding and HR operations including performance management and compliance, helping the company attract top talent in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of recruitment and talent acquisition experience.
• Experience in the construction, engineering, or project-based industry preferred.
• Strong ability to identify and engage high-potential talent across channels effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to influence decisions and build strong partnerships with stakeholders.
• Resourceful mindset with the ability to manage multiple roles, priorities, and challenges simultaneously.

Job Duties

• Managing all aspects of the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, coordinating & conducting interviews, managing offers, and facilitating seamless onboarding experience.
• Proactively develop and nurture a strong talent pool by leveraging diverse sourcing channels such as job boards, social media platforms, networking events, and employee referral programs.
• Collaborate with Hiring Managers to understand role requirements and candidate success profiles, crafting clear, compelling job descriptions, and implementing effective sourcing strategies.
• Enhance the candidate on-boarding experience from the initial interaction through to the job offer stage.
• Play a key role in employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice and attract top talent in a competitive market.
• Provide assistance with various HR-related areas, including but not limited to HR Operations and Support, performance management, and compliance initiatives as needed.
  

Job Requirements

• Possess a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
