Job summary

Maximus Profectus Energy Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Safety Health Officer on a contract basis to lead HSE programmes across our construction and energy projects in Paka, Terengganu. The role blends office work with regular site visits to monitor compliance and manage safety risks.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH, IOSH) or equivalent.
• Relevant degree in Health, Safety and Environmental Management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain HSE policies aligned with local and international standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Investigate workplace incidents and near-misses, documenting findings and corrective actions.
• Deliver health and safety training to staff, contractors and site personnel.
• Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, reports and statistics for regulatory submissions.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients and external HSE consultants.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in HSE performance.
