Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large international construction projects in Asia from our Kuala Lumpur office. You will be responsible for overall project management, coordinating between client, architects and consultants, and ensuring quality, schedule and cost targets are met.

You will monitor site resources, manage the master programme, and lead multi-disciplinary teams, while maintaining safety standards and reporting progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in construction, project management or similar.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience on large international construction projects in Asia.
• Experience in managing contractors in pre and post contract stages and managing tendering process.
• Ability to lead large multi-disciplined construction teams, with excellent leadership and problem solving skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Overall project management ensuring quality, cost, safety and scheduling requirements are met.
• Coordinate between client, architects and consultants.
• Monitor site labour, materials and plant resources in line with the project budget.
• Manage the master programme, manpower, materials & plant schedules.
• Facilitate progress meetings and produce project reports.
• Act as client representative and manage daily site operations.
