Job summary

City University Malaysia in Petaling Jaya is seeking a Senior Specialist, HR Operations to own the end-to-end employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding. You will ensure accuracy of records, manage senior institutional appointments, and oversee contract and performance processes while safeguarding compliance and data integrity.

With 3–5 years in HR Operations, you will coordinate complex stakeholder workflows, track contracts, and support governance across the university.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in HR Operations or Human Capital Administration.
• Higher education experience is highly advantageous.
• Experience managing full employee lifecycle: onboarding, changes, offboarding.
• Ensure compliance with university policies and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and offboarding with seamless experience for academic and administrative staff.
• Manage Letters of Appointment and contracts for Deans, HODs, and senior roles; ensure governance compliance.
• Forecast expiries and manage contract renewal workflow for academic staff.
• Oversee annual performance appraisal cycle with Deans and HODs; generate management-ready reports.
• Maintain HR data integrity; manage HRIS, personnel files, and audit readiness.
• Govern staff scholarship processes; oversee insurance enrollment and related admin.
