Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Housekeeper to direct daily housekeeping activities.
• Review procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs for the department.
• Coordinate housekeeping programs and projects, including renovations.
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas are maintained to required standards.
• Supervise and train Assistant Housekeepers on tasks, schedules and routines.
• Maintain a high level of guest service and respond promptly to guest requests.
• Monitor preventative maintenance program for the hotel.
• Control inventories and par stock for equipment and linen to manage costs.
• Oversee pest control measures and asset protection within housekeeping.
• Collaborate with management to maximise manpower while upholding service quality.
