Job summary

Lexis Hotels & Resorts Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a dynamic Hotel Sales person to develop and execute sales and marketing plans for revenue growth across its properties in KL and beyond.

You will build new corporate and group accounts, manage relationships, and drive meetings and incentive business while meeting budgets. Strong English, independence, and travel readiness are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business or Hospitality Management
• Minimum 3 years experience in Hotel Sales
• Must have a good command of the English language, written and spoken
• Self-motivated and able to work as a team
• Able to work independently
• Must possess own transportation (travel required)

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies and to maximize the generation of hotel sales/ revenues.
• Develop new clients and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to secure group and convention businesses for the hotels.
• Initiate sales activities to ensure actual sales meets or exceeds established budgets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
• Any other tasks as requested by the management.
