Job summary

SSI SCHAEFER is seeking a maintenance electrical lead to maintain the plant’s electrical installation and provide technical guidance to the team. You will support management to ensure workplace and equipment safety compliance with applicable standards and procedures, while coordinating with contractors and internal teams.

The role emphasizes high-tension electrical systems, preventive and corrective maintenance, and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• High-tension (11kV) electrical works planning and preventive maintenance
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot plant electrical facilities and equipment
• Perform high voltage switching and electrical system repairs
• Ensure compliance with Electrical Supply Act & Regulations
• Conduct electrical system audits and implement countermeasures and improvements
• Supervise maintenance contractors to meet quality and safety standards
• Enforce safety requirements during electrical maintenance
• Monitor day-to-day operations of the electrical section
• Assist in troubleshooting electrical equipment and breakdowns
• Ensure safe operation of high-tension power supply and standby generator
