Job summary

UDA Facility Management is seeking an experienced Chargeman BO 11kV on a contract basis in Klang, Selangor. You will oversee safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of 11kV electrical systems, ensuring reliability and safety across our facilities.

You will supervise technicians, liaise with contractors, maintain records, and ensure compliance with safety codes. The role demands HV knowledge, strong problem-solving, and leadership to deliver high-quality electrical services.

Qualifications

• Qualification in electrical engineering or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience as Chargeman or senior technician for 11kV systems.
• Knowledge of HV safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operation and maintenance of 11kV switchboard equipment and distribution systems.
• Monitor HV systems for safe, compliant operation.
• Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on 11kV infrastructure.
• Diagnose faults and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and performance data.
• Coordinate with operations teams and contractors to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Respond to electrical emergencies and follow emergency procedures.
• Provide guidance to junior technicians and conduct safety briefings.
