Job summary

Moomoo Inc. is seeking an experienced Head of Operations / Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end securities and investment product operations across markets.

You will drive strong controls, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvements while leading and developing a regional operations team. You will collaborate with regulators, custodians, fund houses, registrars, and other market counterparties to ensure accurate settlement, processing, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or Economics; preferred.
• Minimum 8 years’ operations experience in stockbroking, investment bank or regulated financial institution.
• Experience leading an operations team with resource planning and people management.
• Strong knowledge of the full trade lifecycle: clearing, settlement, and corporate actions.
• Experience designing and enforcing operating procedures in line with audits.
• Familiarity with Bursa Malaysia and Bursa Clearing rules is strongly preferred.
• English and Malay proficiency required; Chinese/Mandarin is advantageous.
• Bumiputera candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end operations for securities, derivatives, unit trusts, and IPOs across markets.
• Direct daily settlement, processing, and transfers; manage Bursa Clearing activity.
• Own corporate action processing and custody reconciliation.
• Manage escalation for fails, late instructions, and settlement issues.
• Maintain policies, maker-checker controls, and evidence of control performance.
• Produce regulatory and management reporting; support audits.
• Engage with regulators and market counterparties; coordinate with custodians.
• Identify control gaps and drive process improvements and system enhancements.
• Support new product initiatives by defining operational requirements.
• Set team objectives, plan resources, and cascade updates to the team.
