Job summary

Moomoo, a leading global digital brokerage platform, seeks an experienced Head of Operations / Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end securities and investment product operations across markets in Malaysia. You will ensure smooth daily operations, robust controls, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in any discipline; finance, business, accounting or economics preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of operations experience in a stockbroking, investment bank or regulated financial institution.
• Proven experience leading an operations team/department with resource planning and people management.
• Strong knowledge of the full trade lifecycle, clearing, settlement and corporate actions processing.
• Experience designing operating procedures and maker-checker controls in line with regulatory and internal audit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end operations of securities and investment products across markets.
• Direct daily settlement, transaction processing, and share transfers including Bursa Clearing activity and external custody.
• Own end-to-end corporate action processing and daily custody reconciliation.
• Maintain policies, maker-checker controls and evidence of control performance.
• Oversee regulatory and management reporting for operations and assist audits.
• Liaise with regulators (e.g., SC and Bursa) and market counterparties on operational matters.
• Drive process improvements and input to system enhancements.
• Support new product launches by defining operational requirements and target state.
• Set team objectives, plan resources, and cascade updates to the team.

Education
