Job summary

INVENTEC APPLIANCES (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Senior Hardware/System Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and validation of complex electronic systems.

The successful candidate will define system electrical architecture and drive products from concept through mass production. You will collaborate with EE, FW, SW, ME, RF, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to ensure high-quality delivery, lead schematic/PCB reviews, perform bring-up and validation, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in hardware or system electrical design.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces (USB, Ethernet, PCIe, MIPI, HDMI, etc.).
• Familiarity with PCB design, SI/PI, and EMI/EMC fundamentals.
• Experience supporting product development from prototype through mass production.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop system electrical architecture and hardware specifications.
• Lead schematic, PCB layout, and design reviews.
• Coordinate hardware integration across EE, FW, SW, ME and RF teams.
• Perform system bring up, debugging, validation, and failure analysis
• Develop hardware verification and validation plans.
• Join DFM, DFT, DVT, PVT, and production ramp-up activities.
• Evaluate electronic components and support BOM optimization.
• Work closely with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues.
