Job summary

Achieva Technology Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Senior Executive/Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Selangor.

You will lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements under IFRS, and manage monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting and public announcements. You will coordinate with subsidiaries, assist with external audits, support budgeting and forecasting, develop accounting policies, and liaise with auditors, secretaries and tax agents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA) is an added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years in a related field with substantial experience in group financial consolidation.
• Hands-on experience with group consolidation processes.
• Familiarity with SAP systems is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills coupled with a positive work attitude.
• Preferably able to commence work on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting processes and public announcements.
• Perform analytical reviews of consolidated financial statements including profit and loss analysis, balance sheet assessment and trend analysis.
• Coordinate with finance teams across subsidiaries to ensure timely submission of financial statements and analyses.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements for external audits.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and insights.
• Assist in the preparation of the Group's annual budget and financial forecast.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency across the Group.
• Assist in corporate exercises undertaken by the Group, such as mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring activities.
• Evaluate projects and participate in ad hoc process standardization projects within the group reporting function.
• Liaise with external auditors, internal auditors, company secretaries and tax agents on all related matters.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the superior.
