Job summary

Confidential Careers in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a finance professional to maintain the full financial reporting function, including IFRS-based management accounts, financial analysis, and tax compliance for group entities.

You will prepare management accounts for offshore group entities, assist with year-end audited statements, liaise with external parties, and ensure accuracy using accounting software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Experience in finance roles (audit firm, international company, PE firm or financial institution) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts for offshore group entities based on IFRS and liaise with external parties for tax, audits, banking and related transactions.
• Perform financial analysis as required by management.
• Assist in year-end audited financial statements and provide auditors with supporting information.
• Prepare and maintain the billing function for the finance team.
• Stay updated with accounting software and technologies used for financial purposes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and legislation.
