Job summary

Bitdeer seeks an experienced storage-focused engineer to design, deploy, and optimize HPC/AI storage at scale in a Penang-based environment. You will implement multi-tenant storage with QoS, tune I/O performance, and oversee GPU-direct data paths for AI workloads.

You will manage storage networking (NFS over RDMA, NVMe-oF) and contribute to runbooks, capacity planning, and disaster recovery for GPU clusters.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise or HPC storage operations with AI/ML workloads.
• Hands-on deployment and operation of multiple storage systems.
• Strong Linux and networking fundamentals for high-performance environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and run parallel/distributed storage systems; design AI-optimized storage architectures.
• Implement multi-tenant storage with QoS, quotas, and access controls; optimize GPU Direct Storage.
• Deploy/manage storage networking (NFS over RDMA, NVMe-oF) and cluster-wide orchestration.
• Diagnose and tune storage performance (IOPS, throughput, latency) using fio/IOR/mdtest; maintain runbooks.
• Plan capacity growth for GPU clusters; manage firmware, data migration, and DR procedures.
