Job summary

MISC Group in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on-site, seeks a senior governance professional to implement and enhance corporate governance practices across the group. You will advise the Board and senior management, align with regulatory requirements, and drive governance initiatives.

The role requires experience with corporate secretarial functions, board governance processes, and robust stakeholder engagement to uphold governance standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• ICSA; Bachelor's Degree in Law or equivalent professional qualification.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in Compliance, Corporate Secretarial, Legal, or related governance functions.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and monitoring of governance policies, guidelines and practices across MISC Group.
• Drive continuous improvement in governance practices and regulatory compliance.
• Provide advisory services to Board of Directors and senior management on governance matters.
• Conduct research on governance trends, issues, and regulatory developments.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen governance frameworks.
