Job summary

Bruker in Penang, Malaysia seeks a seasoned Commodity Manager to develop and execute global sourcing strategies for materials, services, and freight. You will lead a buyers team, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong analytics, SAP/ERP experience, and cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing and design teams. APICS certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute commodity strategies leveraging supplier capabilities to meet objectives.
• Lead a global procurement team and optimize the supply chain, including sourcing and negotiations.
• Manage global procurement of materials, services, and freight to support NPI and mass production.
• Develop supplier relationships and coordinate with product management and planning for timely procurement.
• Negotiate global supply agreements and drive continuous improvement, KPI tracking, and reporting.
