Job summary

JAC Recruitment represents a client in Pasir Gudang, Johor, seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead end-to-end import and export operations and ensure timely shipments.

You will coordinate customs clearance, paperwork, COA, SIRIM inspections, and liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to optimize costs and service. The ideal candidate has a Diploma/Degree in Logistics, 10+ years of shipping experience, strong Excel and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of logistics/shipping experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of shipping documents, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure.
• Proficient in Excel with ERP system experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end import and export shipments.
• Coordinate customs clearance, haulage, shipping documentation, COA, SIRIM inspections, insurance, and permits.
• Plan export loading schedules with Production and ensure timely deliveries.
• Negotiate shipping rates and liaise with suppliers, customers, carriers, and freight forwarders.
• Prepare shipment status, logistics cost, and shipping reports.
• Work closely with internal departments and management to support business operations.
