Job summary

Businesslist is seeking a Senior Global Import & Export Executive in Kuala Lumpur. This role involves managing import and export operations, ensuring compliance, and leading vendor accountability.

The successful candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in logistics and import/export operations, with a focus on managing logistics providers and performance monitoring. The position offers a competitive remuneration package and a hybrid working arrangement.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in Import & Export Operations, Logistics, or Freight Operations.
• Strong experience managing 3PL and/or 4PL logistics providers.
• Exposure to automation tools in logistics environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Import & Export operations and shipment execution.
• Govern and manage logistics service providers.
• Drive KPI tracking and performance reviews.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Import & Export operations and shipment execution
• Govern and manage 3PL and 4PL logistics service providers
• Monitor shipment visibility, operational performance, and service delivery
• Drive KPI tracking, performance reviews, and vendor accountability
• Lead issue resolution, escalation management, and corrective action initiatives
• Ensure compliance with operational processes, SOPs, and service standards
• Collaborate closely with logistics, transportation, supply chain, and external stakeholders
• Support process improvement, automation, and operational excellence initiatives

Qualifications

A successful Senior Global Import & Export Executive should have:

• 3-7 years of experience in Import & Export Operations, Logistics, Transportation Management, or Freight Operations
• Strong experience managing and working with 3PL and/or 4PL logistics providers
• Exposure to vendor performance management, logistics governance, and KPI monitoring
• Experience handling shipment execution, operational escalations, and issue resolution
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills
• Experience with SAP TM (Transportation Management) would be highly advantageous
• Candidates from shipping lines, freight forwarding, logistics providers, or transportation environments are highly encouraged to apply
• Exposure to automation tools or system-driven logistics environments is an added advantage
