Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a seasoned export sales professional to lead sales activities for all export products across assigned territories. You will analyze objectives, negotiate prices, and maintain distributor networks while forecasting volumes and expanding product coverage.

The role requires a Diploma/Bachelor degree in Sales & Marketing or related fields with 8+ years in export sales within the food industry, and strong market research and client-management skills.

Qualifications

• At least a Diploma or Bachelor degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Management or Mass Communication or equivalent.
• Minimum eight years’ experience in export sales, marketing or business development in the food industry.
• Experience applying market research and audit conclusions to decision-making.
• Proven client and customer account management skills.
• Ability to manage global/regional/country level assignments and projects.
• Demonstrated cultural sensitivity in cross-country interactions.
• Entrepreneurial, strategic thinker with good communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for sales activities for all export products and achieve export sales targets.
• Analyse company objectives and negotiate prices to meet targets.
• Maintain and visit distributors, forecast sales volumes for projects, and stay updated on product range.
• Assist in preparing territory budgets and selecting distributors; facilitate sales initiatives.
• Develop market sales objectives and net revenue; manage new product launches.
• Design marketing and sales programs for assigned territory and participate in exhibitions and tests.
• Collaborate with marketing and technical teams; ensure product quality and export compliance.
• Build professional relationships with clients and supervise sales targets across regions.
• Assist Export Sales Head with budgets and trade show planning; prepare customer strategies.
• Prepare contracts with suppliers and distributors according to country regulations.
• Provide training to team members and troubleshoot export-related issues.
