Job summary

Strato Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Senior Data Loader to manage GIS data loading operations within an Oil & Gas environment in Kuala Lumpur. You will oversee data loading workflows, ensure data integrity, and coordinate with GIS teams to implement reliable loading processes.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Geo-Information or related field, at least 8 years of GIS experience, and hands-on expertise with ArcGIS Pro/Maps/Catalog, SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Geo-Information, Geomatics, Surveying, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of cumulative experience in GIS system development and GIS database management.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience loading, updating and validating spatial data into an enterprise geodatabase (SDE/Geodatabase).
• Hands-on experience using ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, or ArcCatalog for spatial data loading and management.
• Minimum 2 years with at least one enterprise DBMS: SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Minimum 2 evidenced assignments where you designed or improved a data loading process/workflow.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage GIS data loading activities, including design, development and implementation of data loading processes.
• Load, update, and validate spatial data within enterprise geodatabases using ArcGIS platforms.
• Develop and improve data loading strategies, workflows, and procedures using GIS tools.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data loading errors promptly.
• Ensure loading activities follow versioning/workflow procedures to prevent duplication.
• Support GIS database management and ensure data quality and integrity.
• Collaborate with GIS Database Managers and other teams on loading/integration tasks.
• Mentor junior data loaders and share best practices.
