Job summary

Minconsult Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for a full-time role based in Petaling Jaya. You will manage site investigations, analyze soil properties, and provide geotechnical solutions. Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure project success.

Responsibilities include coordinating ground investigations, preparing reports, and overseeing geotechnical design works. Strong leadership, English proficiency, and experience with heavy-structure foundations are essential.

Qualifications

Recognized degree in Civil Engineering, First Class Honours.
MSc in Geotechnical Engineering is advantageous.
2–5 years of civil engineering experience with emphasis on geotechnical-related design.
Design experience in foundation for heavy structures & bridges, slope stabilization and ground improvement.
Proficient with soil investigation works and interpretation of lab tests.
Excellent English and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Plan and commission ground investigations, including tender processes.
Interpret results from ground investigations and laboratory testing.
Perform geotechnical analyses and designs including slope works, foundations, and excavation support systems.
Prepare technical reports, calculations, drawings and specifications.
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and attend meetings as required.
Assist to prepare proposals and carry out technical research.
Display leadership and work independently with minimal supervision.
