Job summary

Responsibilities

• Build the local finance framework and coordinate with Group finance team.

• Responsible for the local company’s month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements complying both Group and local GAAP.
• Coordinate with consultants (tax, HR, company secretory) and auditors for statutory reports.
• Assist HR with payroll documentation and local reports.
• Responsible for daily office administration in a shared office space.

Job Description:

The Senior General Ledger Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and supporting the financial reporting process. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Build the local finance framework and closely coordinate with Group finance team.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries and supporting documents.
• Responsible for the local company’s month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements complying both Group and local GAAP.
• Coordinate with consultants (not limited to tax consultants, human resources consultants and company secretory) and auditors to provide necessary information and documentation. And ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the statutory reports (not limited to annual accounting report, tax filing and PIT).
• Assist human resources team for the local employment related documentation and local reports. Responsible for the monthly salary process.
• Responsible for the daily office administration work (private office in share office place).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficient in accounting software.
• Fluent in English. Chinese is a plus.
• Familiarity with financial reporting standards and regulations.
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated and learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA or equivalent certification.
• Experience with local accounting software.
