Job summary

Finsmart Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a diligent accounting professional to manage full-set accounts and ensure IFRS-compliant financial reporting. The role covers month-end closing, tax calculations, audit coordination, and inter-company reconciliation, with opportunities to liaise with regional HQ stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or MIA) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of full-set GL accounting experience, with solid knowledge of IFRS and tax compliance; experience in the financial services industry is an advantage.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (to liaise with regional/Group HQ stakeholders).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience highly preferred.
• Meticulous, self-disciplined, with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with external auditors, prepare audit documentation, and coordinate the annual statutory audit.
• Review expense claims and daily expenditures to ensure compliance and reasonableness.
• Perform inter-company transaction reconciliation to ensure accurate and consistent group accounting records.
• Undertake other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
