Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer / UI Engineer to build scalable, high-performance, and modern web applications.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who can take ownership of frontend architecture, complex UI development, performance optimisation, reusable component design, and integration with backend services.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in React/TypeScript, modern frontend architecture, API integration, and enterprise-grade UI engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications.
• Take ownership of frontend architecture and technical implementation.
• Build reusable, maintainable, and modular UI components.
• Develop complex user interfaces using React.js and TypeScript.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Implement state management and efficient data handling.
• Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into high-quality production-ready interfaces.
• Develop responsive applications across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.
• Implement frontend security best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
• Write unit, integration, and component tests.
• Troubleshoot complex frontend issues and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, QA engineers, architects, and product teams.
• Contribute to frontend technical standards, architecture decisions, and development best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and technical discussions.

Required Technical Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5–8+ years of professional frontend development experience.

• Strong understanding of frontend architecture and design patterns.
• Experience building reusable component libraries and design systems.

• Good understanding of frontend build tools such as Vite, Webpack, or equivalent.
• Experience writing automated frontend tests using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.

Tough / Niche Technical Skills

Candidates with experience in the following will be strongly preferred:

• Micro-frontend architecture
• Design systems and reusable UI component libraries
• Web performance optimisation and Core Web Vitals
• Advanced TypeScript and frontend architecture
• WebSockets / real‑time applications
• OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect and frontend security
• Accessibility standards such as WCAG
• CI/CD pipelines for frontend applications
• Docker and cloud-based deployment environments
• Experience integrating complex enterprise APIs
• Experience working with AI-powered UI features or AI application interfaces is an advantage.
