Job summary

ONL Biz Solutions in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. You will build reusable frontend architectures and collaborate with backend teams in a microservices environment.

You will mentor junior developers, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure performance, accessibility, and code quality. Experience with React or similar frameworks and REST/GraphQL is required, with exposure to BFF services using Node.js.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining production-grade web applications.
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte, etc.).
• Ability to learn and become productive with new technologies when needed.
• Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
• Experience building and maintaining BFF services using Node.js or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Good understanding of frontend performance optimization, accessibility, and modern web standards.
• Strong focus on code quality, maintainability, and reliability.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience building and maintaining production-grade web applications.

Hands-on experience with one or more modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte, etc.).

Demonstrated ability to learn and become productive with new technologies when needed.

Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.

Experience building and maintaining BFF services using Node.js or similar technologies.

Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.

Good understanding of frontend performance optimization, accessibility, and modern web standards.

Strong focus on code quality, maintainability, and reliability.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with modern meta-frameworks such as Next.js, Nuxt, Remix, Astro, or SvelteKit.

Knowledge of event-driven architectures and asynchronous communication patterns.

Experience with containerization technology and CI/CD pipelines.

Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Experience with observability, monitoring, and performance analysis tools.
