Job summary

World Vest Base in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Senior Front-End Engineer to turn design concepts into high-quality, responsive web interfaces. You will translate visuals into robust UI using modern frameworks and CSS utilities.

You will optimize performance, integrate APIs, test features, and collaborate across design, product, QA and back-end teams in an agile environment. A solid CS degree and strong React/Vue/Angular experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology.
• Strong knowledge of front-end frameworks and modern CSS libraries.
• Experience building scalable, accessible UI.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Transform design mockups and wireframes into responsive web interfaces.

Senior Front-End Engineer - Job Scope

Key Responsibilities

UI/UX Implementation: Transform design mockups and wireframes into functional, responsive web interfaces using modern front-end technologies.

Performance Optimization: Enhance application speed and efficiency through best practices, including lazy loading, code splitting, and performance monitoring.

API Integration: Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate RESTful or GraphQL APIs and manage front-end state effectively.

Testing & Debugging: Develop unit and integration tests using modern testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress). Diagnose and resolve UI issues using debugging tools.

Collaboration: Partner with designers, product managers, QA engineers, and back-end developers in an agile environment to deliver high-impact features.

Version Control: Use Git for source control and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
