Overview:
In-charge of producing Front End Solutions in formulating field development plans projects, from subsurface maturation and engineering studies through to Final Investment Decision (FID), to deliver technically sound, cost-effective and value-adding development concepts that support the PSC gas delivery commitments, the company obligations and overall project value.
Job Descriptions:
- Formulate the field development plan and prepare technical inputs, data and analyses for the evaluation of development scenarios, including well count, well locations, production strategy, facilities, phasing and development timing, in coordination with the subsurface, drilling, asset planning and other related teams.
- Provide front-end engineering inputs to the exploration and appraisal (E&A) strategy in collaboration with the exploration and subsurface teams, including identifying key development uncertainties, defining appraisal objectives and evaluating appraisal-to-development options to support timely and value-driven development decisions.
- Perform concept screening studies and provide technical inputs to concept selection and facilities right-sizing for the West Flank and CCS developments.
- Develop standardized WHP designs for 3-string, 4-string and 5-string well configurations as the design basis for future developments.
- Apply the standardized WHP design to shorten WHP delivery time and reduce project CAPEX, minimizing the need for repeated conceptual engineering and FEED.
- Develop the topside reuse framework, including screening studies and donor-receiver matching, and evaluate opportunities for topside buy-out or total reuse.
- Work with the subsurface team to develop depletion strategies that enable topside or total reuse and align with the overall development plan.
- Identify and support development synergy and cost-saving initiatives, such as bundled WHP EPCIC strategies.
- Prepare cost estimates and cost profiles for development options and provide inputs to economics evaluation in coordination with asset planning and related parties.
- Facilitate and deliver project and cost risk assessments and track the implementation of agreed mitigation actions.
- Prepare front-end engineering deliverables (e.g., basis of design, concept selection reports and scopes of work for ITBs) and provide technical inputs to project decision gates and the Work Program & Budget (WP&B).
- Participate in and coordinate/facilitate meetings and workshops within team and all stake holders related to front-end engineering and the field development plan.
- Interface with engineering, drilling, operations and external stakeholders to maintain alignment on scope, cost and schedule, and present clear technical and commercial recommendations to management.
- Ensure front-end engineering work complies with the company technical standards, specifications and governance requirements, and incorporates lessons learned and recognized industry practices.
- Prepare technical inputs to support Shareholders' project governance reviews and decision gates.
