Job summary

Emerson Electric Co. in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a manufacturing leader to drive safety, quality, and efficiency across electronics production. You will guide Lean, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives while leading MES deployment and digital manufacturing initiatives.

You will champion FPY, OEE improvements, and cost management, partnering with global teams to align strategies with customer needs and business goals. A strong engineering background and proven leadership are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Significant experience leading manufacturing operations in electronics or high-tech environments.
Experience with SMT/Front-of-Line production and process controls.
Strong knowledge of operational excellence and continuous improvement methods.

Responsibilities

Lead and promote safety culture with proactive risk identification and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with ESD, chemical handling, machine safety, LOTO and workplace organization.
Drive FPY, traceability, defect reduction, and customer satisfaction through robust processes.
Lead production scheduling, on-time delivery, cycle time goals, and build-ahead plans.
Develop contingency plans for equipment or manufacturing disruptions.
Drive productivity via OEE, waste reduction, optimization, and cost management.
Identify and support capital investments to boost capability and scalability.
Coach and develop leaders and manufacturing teams for engagement and succession.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on workforce planning and resource allocation.
Lead MES deployment, automation, and digital manufacturing initiatives.
Champion Lean, TPM, Kaizen, and continuous improvement for growth.
