Job summary

Emerson Process Management Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Senior Group Manager for Front-End Manufacturing Operations (SMT/FOL). You will lead safety, quality, and productivity across SMT/FOL lines, driving FPY, OEE, and on-time delivery with a focus on continuous improvement.

You will develop leaders, optimize workforce planning, and deploy MES and digital manufacturing tools while collaborating with global stakeholders to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent.
Significant experience leading manufacturing operations in electronics/high-tech.
Experience managing SMT/Front-of-Line operations.
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or similar methods.
Experience with MES deployments and digital manufacturing tools.

Responsibilities

Lead safety culture and proactive risk identification.
Ensure FPY, product traceability, and on-time delivery.
Drive OEE, waste reduction, and cost management initiatives.
Develop contingency plans and capital investment support.
Coach leaders and build high-performance manufacturing teams.
Collaborate with global teams to align strategies and improvements.
