About the Role

We are building a core front‑end engineering team in Kuala Lumpur to support large‑scale enterprise products used across multiple regions. As a Senior Front‑end Developer, you will take ownership of complex front‑end modules, contribute to architecture decisions, and help establish engineering standards for scalable and maintainable UI systems. This role is ideal for experienced front‑end engineers who enjoy both hands‑on development and technical influence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Core Development & Delivery
   • Design, develop and deliver high‑quality front‑end solutions aligned with product and business requirements.
   • Own complex functional modules from design to production, ensuring performance, stability and maintainability.
   • Collaborate closely with backend engineers to design API contracts and data interaction patterns.
2. Front‑End Architecture & Engineering
   • Participate in front‑end architecture design, including component systems, state management and build pipelines.
   • Build and maintain reusable UI components and shared libraries.
   • Continuously improve code quality through refactoring, reviews and best practices.
3. Performance & Quality
   • Optimize front‑end performance, including rendering efficiency, bundle size and runtime behavior.
   • Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and responsiveness across devices.
4. Collaboration & Innovation
   • Work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers and QA to ensure usability and product quality.
   • Participate in technical discussions and innovation initiatives within the front‑end community.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of front‑end development experience (3+ years strong candidates considered).
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+).
• Deep hands‑on experience with React or Vue, with a solid understanding of their internal concepts.
• Experience with component‑based architecture, modular design and front‑end engineering best practices.
• Familiar with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, Rollup).
• Experience in performance optimization and complex UI scenarios.

Professional Skills

• Strong ownership mindset and ability to drive tasks independently.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multi‑team environment.
• Good English communication skills (Mandarin is a plus).

Nice to Have

• Experience building enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, SaaS platforms).
• Knowledge of TypeScript and front‑end testing frameworks.
• Exposure to micro‑frontend or large‑scale front‑end architecture.
