Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced Senior R&D Executive to lead New Product Development for sauces, condiments and related food products. You will drive formulation development, laboratory and scale-up trials, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

In this role you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, QA/QC, Sales, Marketing and FSQMS to ensure successful product launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or related discipline.
• Min 4 years in Food R&D, Product Development or NPD in food manufacturing.
• Experience in sauces, condiments, seasonings preferred.
• Familiar with HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000, ISO and food regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept through commercialization.
• Develop new formulations and enhance existing food products.
• Conduct laboratory trials, factory-scale trials, product testing and process improvements.
• Ensure products meet food safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Perform sensory evaluations, shelf-life studies and product analysis.
• Prepare technical documentation and product specifications.
• Collaborate with Production, QA/QC, Sales, Marketing and FSQMS teams to support launches.
