Job summary

Haos Industries Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced R&D professional to join our team. The successful candidate will lead product development, conduct formulation trials, perform laboratory testing, and manage technical documentation to support product quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include sensory evaluation, shelf-life studies, GMP adherence, and collaboration with suppliers for materials and HALAL certificates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or Food Processing
• Minimum 2 years' R&D experience in product development or lab testing in F&B
• Experience with formulation trials, sensory evaluation and shelf-life testing
• Knowledge of GMP, KKM, HALAL, HACCP, ISO regulatory standards
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team
• Malaysian ONLY

Responsibilities

• Conduct formulation and reformulation trials for new and existing food and beverage products
• Prepare laboratory samples and pilot batches for development and testing
• Perform sensory evaluations, shelf-life studies, stability testing
• Maintain GMP and food safety compliance in the lab
• Coordinate with suppliers for COA, HALAL certificates and specs
• Prepare product specifications, nutrition information and technical documents
• Document regulatory requirements and certifications including HALAL, HACCP, ISO
• Verify label claims are supported by technical data
• Evaluate raw materials for suitability before production trials
• Assist in maintaining lab equipment and GMP compliance
