Job summary

MSIG Malaysia is seeking a Finance professional to maintain the General Ledger, support financial reporting and audits, and monitor expenses against budgets. You will handle ad hoc tasks or projects as assigned.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting, 2–4 years' experience in insurance, strong time management, good interpersonal and communication skills, fluent English, and proficiency in Excel and Word.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet targets and deadlines.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger maintenance across multiple systems.
• Assist in financial reporting for management, statutory, and group needs.
• Monitor operating expenses and assist in budget control.
• Undertake ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by management.
