Job summary

Diesel Go Pte Ltd in Johor Bahru is seeking a senior Finance leader to head the finance team and oversee day to day accounting activities. The role focuses on timely payment/collection, cash management, and high-quality monthly reporting.

The ideal candidate will drive accounting policy development, manage tax and external regulatory matters, and spearhead process improvements with ERP systems, while staying aligned with financial regulations and corporate strategy.

Qualifications

• Must have degree in accountancy/finance or equivalent such as CPA/CFA/ACCA.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience leading a Finance Team.
• Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals, controls and management reporting.
• Experience in oil & gas is highly advantageous.
• Experience with MS Dynamics 365/ERP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Finance team in overseeing day to day accounting activities.
• Ensure timely payment and collection and cash management.
• Prepare monthly financial and management reports including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash flow Statement and any ad-hoc reports as required.
• Manage tax, audit or external regulatory matters and liaise with external parties.
• Drive the continual development of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including reviewing and implementing process and system changes.
• Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation and make necessary recommendations to Management.
• Engage in continuous process improvement and special projects.
• Continuously leveraging digital capabilities to use data and automations to monitor buyer credit risks.
