Job summary

JAG Corporate Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned finance professional in Kuala Lumpur to oversee monthly management accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The role involves leading a team, refining processes, and supporting top management with timely financial insights.

Responsibilities include closing books, cashflow forecasting, budgeting, tax and audit coordination, and TP compliance, with emphasis on accuracy, timeliness, and governance.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in accounting or equivalent.
• At least 7 years in finance, with 4 years in commercial finance.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
• Experience with accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Understand business model and improve process efficiency.
• Handle full set of accounts and monthly closings.
• Review transactions and ensure documentation.
• Deliver monthly management accounts to senior management by the 15th.
• Prepare rolling cashflow forecast and identify funding gaps.
• Prepare annual budget and monitor results.
• Submit monthly indirect tax returns and reconcile tax codes.
• Lead TP compliance projects with group tax manager.
• Oversee AP/AR to meet monthly deadlines.
• Provide training and support for cost allocations and data entry.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents.
• Escalation point for client issues and ad hoc requests.
