Job summary

S P Setia Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a senior finance professional to lead daily finance operations for property development projects, ensure timely management accounts and variances analysis, and drive budgeting and forecasting accuracy.

The role requires at least 8 years in property development, preferably with 3 years external audit, with strong knowledge of MFRS, financial reporting and tax compliance. Based at Setia Alam, it offers an on-site work environment and various staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of working experience in property development industry.
• Preferably with minimum 3 years external audit experience.
• Possesses knowledge on MFRS, financial reporting and forecasting.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Meticulous and good time management skill.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily finance operations for property development projects.
• Prepare timely management accounts and financial reports; analyse variances for decision making.
• Prepare annual budgets, business plans, profit and cash flow forecast.
• Prepare, monitor and update project feasibility as required.
• Compute and submit tax returns to Inland Revenue Board in compliance with the Income Tax Regulations and Rules.
• Liaise with external and internal auditors, tax agents and financial institutions on related matters.
• Perform special/ ad-hoc projects assigned by superior from time to time.
