Job summary

S P Setia Berhad in Malaysia seeks a seasoned finance professional to prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports. The role requires implementing robust internal controls, managing payables/receivables, and supporting statutory audits and taxation.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure MFRS compliance and accurate consolidation. The position is based at Setia Alam with a focus on property development finance, demanding strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent is required.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA/CIMA/CPA/ICAEW are an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting in the property development sector.
• Strong knowledge of MFRS and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support planning and decision making.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting systems.
• Prepare and monitor annual work plans, budgets, and monthly management reports.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow.
• Assist in accounting, statutory audit, taxation, treasury, and consolidation processes.
• Monitor intercompany and related party transactions and liaise with auditors and regulators.
