Job summary

Zohorecruit in Kuala Lumpur seeks a hands-on Accounts & HR payroll professional to manage full sets of accounts, payroll processing, and HR administration. Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 3-4 years of relevant experience covering accounting and HR/payroll.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting, payroll, and statutory requirements.
• Able to handle full set accounts and payroll independently.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical ability and organisational skills.
• Mature, responsible and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Hands-on and independent with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts: AP, AR, GL, cash flow and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage invoicing, payments, collections and supplier/customer accounts.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, budgets and financial controls.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks and other external parties.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements and deadlines.
• Support management with financial analysis, costing and ad-hoc matters.
• Oversee end-to-end HR lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, exits.
• Administer monthly payroll, leaves, attendance and benefits.
• Ensure compliance with EPF/SOCSO/EIS/PCB and other statutory requirements.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Develop and implement HR policies and engagement initiatives.
• Maintain documentation, filing systems and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting, payroll and HR processes.
• Provide timely reports and updates to management.
• Support ad-hoc operational, finance and HR projects.
