Job summary

Talent Recruit represents a leading plastic packaging materials manufacturer in Malaysia seeking a Senior Finance Executive/Assistant Manager based in Shah Alam. The role covers monthly/ quarterly financial reporting, cash flow oversight, tax compliance and budget preparation, with a focus on full set accounting and ERP usage.

The position offers Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:30pm, group insurance, medical outpatient coverage and a quarterly bonus. Salary is up to RM7,000 and based in Shah Alam.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 5 years of working experience in finance/accounting within the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in FULL SET ACCOUNT.
• ERP system experience is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual Financial Reports.
• Prepare weekly and monthly Cash Flow Reports.
• Verify and approve supplier payments and monitor credit control.
• Monitor utilization of banking facilities.
• Preparation of bank applications (RC, LC, BG, BA etc).
• Monitor AR aging and highlight long overdue customers.
• Responsible for Company Taxation and timely tax submissions.
• Lead and coordinate the preparation of company budget.
• Prepare monthly accruals, provisions and financial closings.

We are representing our client a leading plastic packaging materials manufacturer in Malaysia. Our client is currently seeking for an experienced and dynamic candidate to fill the position of Senior Finance Executive/ Assistant Manager

• Mon-Fri (9:00am-5:30pm)
• Group Insurance and Medical Outpatient
• Quarterly Performance Bonus
• Salary: up to RM7,000

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual Financial Reports.
• Prepare weekly and monthly Cash Flow Reports
• Verify and approved supplier payments and monitor credit control.
• Monitor utilization of banking facilities.
• Preparation of bank application (RC, LC, BG, BA etc).
• Monitor AR Aging and highlight long overdue customers.
• Responsible in Company Taxation. Ensure Tax Computation information prepare and submit to Tax Agent accurately and timely.
• Review of tax payable and provision required in financial statement
• To lead and co-ordinate the preparation of Company budget.
• To prepare monthly preparements, accruals, and provisions
• To prepare monthly financial closing.
• To prepare Forex/Realized gain or loss for AP and AR.
• To undertake any ad hoc tasks assigned by superior or management from time to time.
• Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Experienced in FULL SET ACCOUNT
• 5 years of working experience in finance/accounting within the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in ERP system will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently, self-driven, positive working attitude and meet tight deadline.
• Able to be based in Shah Alam, Selangor
