Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Minde Group Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead all financial operations for our Johor-based manufacturing client. You will provide business decision support, FP&A, and strategic planning to drive growth and profitability.

You will ensure timely IFRS-compliant accounting and reporting in Malaysia, mentor finance staff, and partner with operational leaders to deliver long-term financial strategies within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent (e.g., ACCA, CPA).
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Proactive attitude and ownership mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with various levels of the organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
• Capable of problem-solving and adapting to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct all financial operations, provide FP&A, and support strategic planning.
• Ensure timely, IFRS-compliant accounting and reporting in Malaysia.
• Lead the implementation of finance strategies in Malaysia aligned with corporate objectives.
• Lead staff in accordance with policies and applicable legislation.
• Ensure compliance with financial processes, local regulations, statutory reporting, controls; review revenue, expenditures, asset management, tax, and governance.
• Advise operational leaders on financial, strategic, organizational, and business growth issues.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial reporting timetables.

Job Description:

• Manage and direct all aspects of financial operations for the Company, providing business decision support, financial planning and analysis, and implement strategic planning and improvement processes.
• To ensure timely and accurate accounting and reports in accordance with local IFRS and tax rules.
• Contribute to implementation of Finance strategies in Malaysia that are in line with corporate objectives
• and directions. Lead staff in accordance with organizations policies and applicable legislation.
• Ensure compliance with established financial processes, and local compliance requirements, statutory
• government reporting, procedures and controls; financial reporting and review of revenue,
• expenditures, asset management, tax, management reporting and administration.
• Advise operational leaders on financial, strategic, organizational, and business issues for both short and long-term growth strategies.
• Assist in implementation of management and administrative financial systems, policies, and procedures
• to provide structure and discipline for sustained business growth.
