Purpose of the role
Responsible for managing full set of accounts and overseeing daily finance operations, including reporting, reconciliations, and compliance. The role ensures accurate and timely financial records, supports audits and tax matters, and provides financial analysis to improve cost efficiency and business performance.
Key Activities
Manage full set of accounts, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closing.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
Oversee daily finance operations such as receivables, invoicing, payments, and accounting system entries.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all financial data.
Prepare audit schedules, tax computations, and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Handle statutory audits, tax submissions, and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies.
Perform monthly reconciliation of creditors, debtors, bank accounts, intercompany balances, and other key accounts.
Provide financial insights and conduct evaluations to identify cost-reduction opportunities.
Qualification Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, preferably in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
