Job summary

Minelog (Mine Logistics Sdn Bhd) in Klang, Malaysia is seeking a Senior Finance Executive for our Accounts Department. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and provide financial support to operations to drive profitability and efficiency.

Responsibilities include monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing, billing and cost management for freight forwarding, SST and corporate tax compliance, and partnering with operations on pricing, cost control, and KPI analysis using MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent.
• Professional certification such as ACCA/CPA/MICPA/CIMA is an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance/accounting, preferably in logistics/freight forwarding.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and management reports.
• Handle full set of accounts including GL, AR, AP, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure timely month-end closing and reporting.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and credit control.
• Oversee billing of freight charges, haulage, customs clearance, and other logistics services.
