Job summary

Barry Callebaut Services Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an experienced finance leader to manage local accounting, ensure accurate financial statements, and support compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.

The role will guide stakeholders, drive process improvements, and coordinate with the GBS Centre to centralize core financial activities while overseeing company secretarial duties with Legal Counsel.

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years finance experience with 3–4 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in multinational environments, preferably in B2B / FMCG sectors.
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP; strong plant Controlling background.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and ensure timely closing and accurate reporting.
• Consolidate local entity reports and ensure internal and external reporting compliance.
• Oversee internal controls and improve processes for financial efficiency.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders and support on complex accounting issues.
• Collaborate with GBS Centre to centralize P2P/O2C/R2R/IC activities.
• Lead company secretarial coordination with Legal Counsel.
