Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking a Senior Finance Associate for a 12-month contract in Kuala Lumpur. You will support daily finance and accounting activities, contribute to finance transformation, process improvements, ERP enhancements, and company integration projects.

You will work with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, compliance with Malaysian regulations, and continuous improvement of finance processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations, tax compliance, and e-Invoicing requirements.
• Hands-on experience in finance operations, general ledger accounting, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Navision, or similar accounting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate records, timely reporting, and alignment with company policies and Malaysian accounting standards.
• Support compliance with Malaysian statutory and tax requirements, including SST, corporate tax, withholding tax, and e-Invoicing obligations.
• Perform bank reconciliations, investigate outstanding items, and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, audit support documents, and regulatory submission materials.
• Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, including ERP implementation, process automation, digitalisation, and system enhancement projects.
• Support company integration activities such as finance process harmonisation, data migration, chart of accounts alignment, and post-merger finance activities.

Join us as a Senior Finance Associate under our 1-Year Finance Associate Program, designed for finance professionals who are keen to make an impact while further developing their expertise across financial operations, compliance, and business transformation.
